This morning the UK woke up to be told that the Electoral Commission proposes to introduce
photo-ID for voting. It's one of those ideas that sound sensible until you investigate them.
How best to get this point across?
What better than
a gift to the Chair of the Commission?
A gift with a message: "Dear Ms Watson Re PhotoID to vote, to avoid starring rôle in 2nd edition of Bacon&Hope's Conundrum (attached, pls enjoy), suggest large-scale independent trial first before reluctantly abandoning apparently good idea. Best wishes, DMossEsq".
